Origin and history.
Rhodonite is a hard, opaque stone that can be recognized by its pink and black color. This is caused by the manganese that is in this mineral. It can hold all kinds of different patterns and is quite easy to edit. That’s why it’s a popular strain for crafting into jewelry and decorative pieces. But also in table tops and sometimes walls. Rhodonite owes its name to the Greek word ‘rhodon’, which means rose scent.
