Origin and history.
Golden healer is a trade name for the gold colored version of limonite quartz. Limonite quartz can also be found in reddish brown, it is often sold under the name red healer. The color of golden healer is similar to that of natural citrine and has a sunny appearance. Golden healer is transparent and has a glass-like appearance. The more limonite present in the quartz, the darker the color. Limonite is also responsible for the beautiful yellow/brown colors in tiger’s eye. Golden healer is widely found in America, Madagascar, Tibet, Brazil.
