Small piece of cobalto calcite. You will receive the exact piece as shown in the pictures.
Funny thing is, this kind mostly is considered Pink Calcite or Cobalto Calcite, but in fact the material can also potentially be pink Dolomite. Salrose is the common name which is often given to both the cobalt bearing dolomite or calcites which comes from Congo. It is often difficult to tell the difference between the calcite or dolomite hosts particularly when the specimens are microcrystalline in nature. Salrose is generally an over arching term used to describe the “pink stuff” often found in the copper bearing deposits in Southern and Central Africa.
It’s a classic collectible mineral from Congo which is very attractive and gained more popularity in the last few years. Often you find some pieces of malachite or black calcite inside this clusters.
