Grape agate is only found in Indonesia and is very valuable. It owes its name to the purple chalcedony spheres that resemble a grape. Actually, the term agate is not entirely appropriate, but chalcedony would be better. Grape agate is extremely popular with collectors and gem therapists because of its high frequency.
